Welcome to my new blog! I decided to take the time and figure out blogger (Google's blogging service) to take full advantage of the customization options it offers. I wanted to take control of the whole width of the screen to be able to show you larger images since that's one of the main purposes of this blog. I'd love to hear your feedback and please let me know if you have any issues viewing this blog.

The old blog still lives and will stay online, so don't worry if you have photos or slideshows hosted there. Thanks Perú!

My visit to Perú is about to end. I've been here teaching a 2-day workshop thanks to the invitation of Aldo Huaman and the awesome guys at APROFOT.
It would have been a sin being so close to one of the wonders of the world and not visiting it so of course I went to Cusco, Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley and a few more of the incredible places Perú and Lima have to offer.

Mi experience in Perú has been great and I know I'll be here again soon. To a naturally amazing place you add the people and you get a whole different dimension even more interesting. Being able to experiment and observe these kind of interactions has become very important for me lately so I'm stoked about the whole trip.

I realized that every time I achieve something I consider important and I'm proud of, there's always one and usually more people to thank for making it possible. My visit to Perú was possible thanks to Aldo Huaman and the team @ APROFOT (Asociación de Fotógrafos Profesionales del Perú). The workshop was a success thanks to Aldo, Chavela, Elizabeth, Omar, Francis, Gerardo and Mijael and the other presenters, Luis Alarcon and Miguel Irias who did a great job by sharing very useful information about photography and Photoshop techniques.

Last but not least, we where there because of the attendees… without your interest and passion everything would have been very boring and useless. Thanks Perú!

Special thanks to Susan Cegarra.

I love the pics of the people of Peru. Reminds me of some of the pics that were taken by my dad when he was working there, some 20 years ago.
