Santa Anita Park Wedding

As promised here are a few more images from the wedding I shot with David Jay last Sunday. We started at the Westin Pasadena where the bride, her mom and sister got ready. The ceremony took place at the Santa Anita Park Race Track in Arcadia later in the afternoon. The groom is a horse doctor and he works with some of the finest animals in the world... he told us a few amazing stories about his field like the fact that these thoroughbred fly all around the world in their own 747... yeah!

I'm loving the results when I shoot b&w or sepia straight in camera with my Nikons (D3 or D300)... this one is a JPG straight out of the camera shot with the 50mm @ f1.4 - portrait a-la Jonathan Canlas! only I'm digital...

















I know my photographer friends want to see the man in action so here you go... he doesn't even need to put any effort to get the stuff done... and Paul is learning very fast... talking about 'freestyle shooting' ;-)

These two take coolness to a whole new level...
